Naomi Atkinson is the creator of nimnom designs. She is an illustrator, living in the beautiful Buckinghamshire countryside. She has a keen interest in animals and nature and enjoys creating charming, gentle and quirky illustrations that she hopes will bring a smile to the faces of children and adults alike.

After working in the TV and media industry for several years, she is now returning to her first love of drawing and creating appealing and loveable characters. Entirely self-taught, she has recently completed online courses with The London Art Collage (Illustrating Children’s Books), Cambridge RSU (Picture Book Summer School) and The Good Ship Illustration.

When she is not creating imaginary characters, she can often be found trying her hand at jewellery making, practicing Tai Chi, enjoying the British countryside (especially a good windswept beach) or walking Bean the Dog.
